'Blizzard Packs' are now available to order through our online shop at Total Adventure Racing or over the telephone.
They will also be available to purchase or be delivered to numerous adventure racing events this season through our mobile shop.
If you are having trouble finding a piece of kit, no matter what it is, please send us an email and we will do our best to source it for you.
Remember- if you cant find what you are looking for on this website still get in touch because we might well have it in stock anyway!

We have now put the kit list up on our site. Matt has been working hard on linking in the items to our online shop. Its not been easy only because the shops are about 30% up on last year! Must be all this nice weather. If the item does not link to anything, we'll probably still have it.
Joe will be bringing a shop to the ARWC. If you'd like to see a piece of kit or order somthing to pick up then please give us a shout.
We will be bringing items handy for racing with us. these will include bungy, duct tape and rope.
If you've any requests for stuff we haven't thought about, let us know.

The most used kayak in global adventure races has made a return to the UK. The first batch of Necky Amarak's were delivered for the first ARWC course last weekend. These boats are tough, can take a lot of weight and are stable. They are an ideal touring boat.
This will likely be the last batch of Amarak's for a while as they are moving the manufacturing equipment for this model to New Zealand.

We will be releasing around 10 boats from the fleet in June after the ARWC. These will be for a discounted rate, racers can buy at this price before the race.

The two courses aimed at ARWC competitors have now finished. A couple of weekends spent looking at stroke analyisis, tides and playing with gear went down well with the participants. Following feedback from the teams the intention is to continue with similat course to help adventure racers develop their paddling.

The most exciting news in Uk adventure racing history is the hosting of the Adventure Racing World Championships in Scotland at the end of May. You can see more about this event at www.arwc2007.com.
Team Total Adventure has had a slight revamp for this race. Having raced under this banner for the last 5 years we are joined by two new partners, Buff and Cumbria Tourism's recently revamped web site www.lakedistictoutdoors.co.uk.
Buff manufacture one of the most used pieces of clothing in the outdoors. I've personally used them to over 8000 metres and regularly use them on most outdoor sports. If you've never seen them before have a look here-
